Payment and Billing Policy
Credit and Debit Cards
Savoir Faire Organics Inc. (also referred to as “Savoir Faire Organics” or “SF Organics®”) currently accept Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. For orders shipping to the USA, we also accept Discover and Diners Club credit cards. You can store multiple credit cards to use for your online purchase on SFOrganics.ca. During this step in the checkout process, you can add, edit, or delete your information. Select one credit or debit card for the payment of your order.
When your credit or debit card is authorized, funds are put on hold until the transaction is completed. When the order is shipped, the payment is processed.
Your billing information must be exactly as it appears on your financial statement. If any numbers are different, the order cannot be processed. Be sure to correctly spell city/province/territory/state names and avoid using abbreviations unless that is how your information appears on your statement.
Contact your financial institution if you need the exact billing address associated with your credit or debit card.
For your security, Savoir Faire Organics may require you to enter your 3- or 4-digit card identification number (CID/CVN/CVV/CVC) on certain orders for Visa, MasterCard, American Express and other accepted debit or credit cards. See below for help with credit card identification numbers.
When an order is submitted, the funds are put on hold and will be unavailable to you. The funds will remain on hold until the order is shipped. At that time, the hold will become the settled charged. If your order is shipped in multiple parts, you may see multiple settled charges.
If an order attempt is unsuccessful or if the order is cancelled, Savoir Faire Organics immediately reverses electronically the pending authorization. The financial institution may take 5-7 business days to remove any pending authorizations. Policies differ from bank to bank. Call your financial institution for more details.
Multiple failed order attempts will result in multiple pending authorizations. Your payment method will only be charged when a successful order is shipped.
eGift Cards (For Canada only)
eGift Cards are virtual cards with a 16-digit card number.
If you reside in Canada and your order is shipping to Canada, you can pay for your merchandise with an eGift Card. eGift Cards can be used online, or on our mobile app. Up to two eGift Cards can be used per order online. Any unused balance will remain on the card and can be used toward a future purchase.
If using an eGift card to pay for your order, please retain the eGift card receipt until the order has been received. If the order total changes due to cancellations, the balance will be reinstated on the eGift card.

Cheques & Money Orders
SFOrganics.ca does not accept personal cheques or money orders as a form of payment for online orders.
All payment forms are subject to verification and review by Savoir Faire Organics. Savoir Faire Organics reserves the right to refuse to process any transaction, sale, or shipment of orders due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity.
For your own security and protection, SFOrganics.ca will pre-authorize the full amount of your purchase plus applicable sales tax and shipping to verify your billing address and payment information. Any pre-authorization for failed or canceled orders will drop off your account within 1-7 business days depending on your financial institution. SFOrganics.ca will collect payment and post the actual amount of the purchase only when your order is shipped from our warehouse.
The Savoir Faire Organics charge will be listed on your credit card bill as: SP * SAVOIR FAIRE ORGA and the total amount charged.
Order Status & Modifying Orders
Before you place your order, you can view the contents and the total amount in your shopping cart. Once your order is placed, it cannot be modified. If you would like to cancel your order, most orders can be canceled up to an hour after being placed. To check the status of an order, check the Order Details page.

Problems with Checkout
Billing Information Errors
Here are some helpful suggestions if you receive the following error messages on the Billing Information page:
Error Message – "The billing information that you entered does not match your credit card information. Please verify your billing information to ensure that it matches your credit card billing address (i.e., street/city/state/zip address must match EXACTLY)."
If you receive this message after you have attempted to submit your order, you may want to check the following:
Ensure that there are no typos or misspellings with your name, street address, city, province, territory, state, postal code or zip code.
Verify that your billing address on your credit card bill is exactly the same as you have entered.
Call your issuing bank to ensure that your bank has recently updated their online transaction database. In some cases, the address they have entered into their online address verification system is outdated.
You may want to try an old address, because in some cases, it takes a while for banks to update their information. Addresses up to two years old can be authorized successfully.
**Please be aware that with each submission, you may place another hold on your funds for the total amount of the order. In many cases, submission with a valid credit card number with an incorrect billing address will still result in a hold on your account. If this occurs, please note that those authorizations will drop off your account within 2 - 4 business days depending on your issuing bank. Please contact your bank for further questions.
Partially Canceled Orders
Out of Stock Item After Order has been Placed
If an item in your order is out of stock after your order has been placed, the out of stock item will be canceled from your order and you will receive notification via email. All in stock items in your order will be shipped to you.
The tax rate applied depends on your ship-to destination. Tax is calculated on the merchandise total of your order, and in some states or provinces, sales tax is payable on shipping and handling charges.
